Services Offered
We offer a wide variety of services at Ridglea West Animal Hospital. We have a surgical suite with gas anesthetic equipment and cardiac monitor, x-ray facilities, in-house laboratory, fully stocked pharmacy, professional groomer, indoor kennel for hospitalization, boarding and many other services. Elective surgeries such as spay, teeth cleaning, ear trims, tail docking and castration are performed routinely and can be scheduled with the receptionist. We are happy to schedule a tour of our hospital to allow you an opportunity to see our equipment and facilities.

Emergencies
Because Dr. Verwers knows your pet and its problems, he prefers to handle all emergencies himself at this hospital. You and your pet will feel more comfortable in a familiar environment. To contact him for emergencies after hours call
817-763-0261. On occasion, when Dr. Verwers is unavailable, calls are referred to the I-20 Animal Medical Center. Their number is 817-478-9238.

Appointments
Regular office hours are:
Each weekday from 7am-6pm, except Tuesdays, in which we're open in the morning from 8am-10am. On the weekend, we're open Saturdays from 8am-1pm, and closed on Sunday.

So that we may serve you more efficiently call for an appointment. This allows scheduling of surgery and treatments in between appointments and prevents long waits. Our staff is highly qualified to answer questions concerning your pets. If you must speak to the doctor, please give us as much information as you can about your pet. When the doctor returns your call, the information you provided will aid him in serving you more effectively.

Payments
Payment is due when services are rendered. We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. If you have financial difficulties you may ask Dr. Verwers about payment arrangements; however, this is discouraged and only done in special cases. Estimates are given for treatment plans and we try to keep costs reasonable and estimates accurate.
